Through our doors pass the
friends of mankind. They have protected us from
harm throughout the years by being obedient, loyal, and
trustworthy. It is now our turn to take care of them
and give them peace, serenity and love.
Our mission at the
Okefenokee Humane Society is, above all, to give the animals
that are in our care the home that they have never known.
We do our best to place these animals into as many loving
homes as possible.
We strive to educate the
public on being responsible pet owners by having their pet
neutered or spayed so as to not reproduce any unwanted
litters.
We as pet owners have
taken on the responsibility of being "man's best friend."
By doing so, we have taken on the obligation of tending to
them for a lifetime.
